SISSS00111 Pool Lifeguard - Pool Life Guard Course
The role of a Life Guard can be a rewarding and sometimes challenges role in providing a safe and enjoyable environment for patrons around the aquatic environment . It is a multi-disciplined role with both the need to provide rescue services, strong customer service conflict resolution skills together with good communication skills to educate users about the risks and the rules.
Our focus is on providing contextualized training to suit different environments including single lifeguard pools, remote pool and schools. Our Nationally Accredited Life Guard program focuses on having a proactive approach to water safety, providing the skills and knowledge to provide safe and effective water rescues, anticipate and prevent incidents, engage and communicate with clients about water safety.
We can also provide 1 day Pool Lifeguard refresher courses.
Please note It is a requirement of this course that all participants complete a Provide First Aid course, HLTAID003, before attending this course.

To reschedule a booking please provide your original booking information and the day you would like to change to.
For any cancelations made more than 48hours prior to the course an administrative fee of $20.00 will apply. For any changes to any course booking made within 48 hours a refund cannot be issued.
Important-Unique Student Identifier (USI) Number
From 1st January 2015, it is a government requirement to have a Unique Student Identifier Number (USI) for all nationally accredited courses that you attend.

Students who successfully complete this nationally recognised training will be awarded the statement of attainment
SISCAQU002 – Perform basic water rescue
SISCAQU006 – Supervise clients in aquatic locations
SISCAQU007 – Perform advanced water rescues
PUAEME001B – Provide emergency care
PUAEME003C – Administer oxygen in an emergency situation
