Delivered by our experienced Nursing team, our Non Accredited Medication training course has been specifically developed for carers and support workers, who are required to administer medications from dosage aids, such as Webster packs.
Upon successfully completion of the course you will be able to,
-Understand the legal requirements involving Medications
-Develop the skills and knowledge to safely assist clients with Medications
-Correct use of dosage aids, such as webster or blister packs
-How to measure and store Medications
-The different ways to administer medications including tablets, liquids, patches and eye and ear drops.
Assisting Clients With Medication
The course has a strong emphasis on practical hands on training, including the use of medications aids and dispensing different types of medication. This course can also be adjusted to meets the policies and procedures of your organisation.

Upon successful completion of the course participants will be issued with RTS Training Group certificate of Participation.

For any cancellations made more than 48 hours prior to the course an administrative fee of $20.00 will apply. Unfortunately no refunds or changes to course bookings can be made within 48 hours of a course start time.

From 1st January 2015, it is a government requirement to have a Unique Student Identifier Number (USI) for all nationally accredited courses that you attend.
