This nationally recognised , 4 hr combined course is developed for those that work in the electrical industry and is suitible for anyone who has not completed either of these courses before or certificates have expired.
This course aims to build an understanding of the nature and type of injuries that occur from performing electrical work, the role and responsibility of employers and employees in relation to electrical safety. The course has a strong practical component focusing on how to safety perform a low voltage rescue and perform CPR once safe to do so.
Provide Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation-HLTAID001
Our CPR courses teach the skills and knowledge required to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). During the course you will learn how to assess an emergency situation, correct CPR technique for infants and adults, your legal responsibilities when offering assistance, and how to use and administer a defibrillator. Our highly knowledgeable instructors focus on making the CPR training interactive, relevant to your situation and enjoyable.
CPR Training is offered as a combination of online theory and practical training. The online theory takes approximately 30-40 minutes to complete prior to the course and the practical training takes 2 hours.
On the day of the CPR course please bring along a copy of the online certificate as evidence that you have completed the online theory training.
Perform rescue from a live LV panel-UETTDRRF06B
Our LVR course is a combination of theory and practical training. Our Theory section covers such topics as emergency procedures for the rescue of a victim from a live LV panel encompassing inspection of rescue equipment, assessing hazards to rescuer, casualty and others and Isolation procedures. The practical component includes Implement occupational health and safety workplace procedures, Inspection and placement of rescue equipment, Identification and labeling of the isolation point, Removing victim to safe location / place of safety and DRSABCD protocol and providing first aid for a burn.
This course, UETTDRRF06B Perform rescue from a live LV panel has a prerequisite of HLTAID001 Perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation
