Just did my CPR and Remote first aid with RTS. By far the best experience I had. Thought it would be a long boring day...it wasn't. Very dynamic course, with in the end a lot of fun (the scenarios at the end were really cool) and learned a lot, feeling more confident. The combo with the online learning is just the best, you do it on your own time schedule, and the videos are very clear and again...not boring. Highly recommend RTS, we had Natalie who was just perfect!

My first training experience at RTS for the first aid and CPR certification was a very positive one. The trainer was bubbly, helpful and informative, and asked in my view the right balance of questions, always probing the class for feedback and responses. Training equipment was in good working order and facility was spacious.

Genuinely one of the best refresher courses I have been to. The instructor was super lovely and made the experience enjoyable. The course was super engaging, which is often hard to do with a class full of people who have done CPR courses several times. I was super impressed with the equipment, having the lights on the half mannequins to let you know how you're tracking with pace and depth and having the manual resuscitation bag to ensure that you can replicate breaths even during COVID times. It was also beneficial to have the full sized body bags to practice recovery position. Overall very enjoyable and impressed with the whole experience.

I was scheduled to attend a CPR course but was sick with Stomach ache on the day of the course. I requested to have my training done on a different day and the customer service team were quite rude and told me I would need a 2 day notice to reschedule. This is unacceptable that I would be losing my money and would have to rebook again.Please look for other places that offer a better refund policy should you need it!

Did my CPR/LVR refresher with RTS yesterday. Super efficient way to go with the on-line theory, and hands on practical demo and assessment. Presenters were excellent and inclusive and covered everything that needed to be done, and then some, in a couple of hours. Probably the best course of this type I have done so I would highly recommend this group.

The online videos were easy to watch and understand and contained all the critical information we need. The online assessment was comprehensive and again covered the essentials and made sure you understood the material. The face-to-face assessment took less than a couple hours of my time - again, covered everything necessary, the trainer made sure we all knew the material, practical and the assessments were thorough and easy to follow. I will be doing this course again for all my CPR Refreshers.

I had my CPR refresher course with them, did some online pre-course training then attended face-to-face accessment for about an hour. I love this system as it saves some time for busy people like myself. It was a very good experience, very efficient, the educator (with pink hair, sorry I forgot her name) is very lovely and engaging. I will recommend this place to my friends and colleagues.

This is THE place for workplace training. Good online content and then face to face time is kept to a minimum. Ideal for getting the guys training scheduled before the work day. The new simulator for LV Rescue is much more realistic. I will be telling anyone who asks to head to RTS for CPR and LVR annual training. Thanks 10/10

As international Student, I was looking for renew my documents and trainings on time, without wait for a long time to be able to complete something that seems complicated + school + work. Well, the instructors know what they are doing and my purchase experience was easy, cheap, and I had my certificate the same day . So, I definitely will renew it here next year. Just "CPR Training" take your time (1 hour max) to watch the online pre-assessment and that's it.

Shout out to Alicia who, pardon the pun, completely breathed life into teaching First Aid! Courses like First Aid and CPR aren't particularly 'exciting' for anyone, but Alicia's fresh approach, knowledge and bubbly presentation of the course really brought it to life and kept students engaged and informed. Can't recommend her enough! The course itself was a few hours of theory online and then a few hours of practical assessment in person - really convenient. Thanks guys!

Although odd location the email sent out prior to course gave clear instructions on available free parking and directions. Offices were clean, all staff friendly and thoroughly enjoyed the CPR refresher by Casey Malone - very efficient with getting through the contents and demonstrations. Course Delivery Mode and Assessment Information

Course Delivery Mode:

1 Hour online followed by 2 hour Face to Face learning and assessment. time 3 hours

Individuals undertaking this course will be expected to complete both written and practical assessment tasks.

Practical demonstrations:

• Respond to a fire emergency
• Demonstrate correct use of equipment

1. Small flammable liquid fire
2. Metallic fire
3. Fire hose reel

Theory assessment:

• A written exam consisting of multiple choice and short answer questions

COVID 19 Procedures

In response to COVID-19, we have implemented the following changes to our courses:

• Implemented an online learning component for some of our First Aid and selected healthcare courses, reducing the contact time for classes.
• Class sizes have been reduced to a maximum of 12 people to ensure adequate social distancing is maintained.
• Bag Valves Masks are used in substitution for rescue breaths during CPR training.
• Each student has their own equipment.
• Students are required to wash their hands at the start of the course and use disposable gloves throughout.
• Each student wipes down equipment using disposable disinfectant wipes.
• Manikins are cleaned by the staff at the end of each session.

On arrival at the centre:

• Students are requested to use hand gel on entry.
• Sign-in for a course is done using a tablet. No paperwork is required to be completed before or after the course.
• No one is permitted to be in the centre until 10 minutes prior to a course.

Important Information on The Day of Your Course

To ensure you can successfully complete your practical training we ask the following:

• Arrive 10 minutes prior to the course start time. (Please note that if you arrive late you will not be able to attend the course).
• Wearing appropriate attire.
• Including enclosed shoes, pants and shirt.
• Verify your USI.
• Achieve 100% completion of the online learning material.
• Provide photo ID upon entry.
• Register on the Covid-19 Contract Registry.

If the student does not meet the above requirements, they will be unable to attend the practical training.

Making Changes to your booking

We understand there are times when you may need to make a change to your booking. If this is the case please get in touch with us via email, admin@rtstraining.com.au

For all requested booking changes, more than 48hrs (2 business days) prior to a course, no rebooking fee will apply. If the request is less than 48hrs (2 days) prior to a course no changes, including refund requests can be  made.

All requested changes to a booking must be made in writing.

In the event of a cancellation request by a customer, a voucher will be issued to the value of the amount paid. This voucher can be used to book any future courses with us.
