Alicia

Operations Manager

Alicia has a wealth of knowledge and has trained for over 7 years.
She has 15 years of experience in aviation, with 5 of which she was an emergency instructor for flight attendants and pilots, specialising in advanced first aid and resuscitation, fire, aviation security, dangerous goods, emergency procedures and customer service training.

“The part I enjoy the most is watching students put all the skills and knowledge into practice when we run the group scenarios.”

Clare
Clare has over 15 years of experience in the aquatic industry. Before joining RTS training Group she worked at a swim school in multiple roles and has an extensive knowledge of pool requirements and functions.

John

Assistant Operations Manager (Maternity Leave Cover)

John has over 15 years experience in the gas utilities industry as a gas distribution officer and qualified Trainer and Assessor. His role involved a high level of knowledge of the characteristics and dangers of gas, the importance of gas testing and emergency response . He was involved in ATCO’s Emergency Response team, and conducted training specific to gas emergency response procedures and SCBA. Throughout his career, John has supervised trainees and new employees, and has had extensive exposure to trainee and new employee workplace integration and training.

“I enjoy training because it’s transactional. I get to meet new people and share the knowledge and experiences I have gained over the years, while at the same time learning from my students in the same way. Life is all about continuous learning and improvement, and training people everyday reinforces that in a stimulating and enjoyable way”.

Senior Trainer and Project Lead

Adam has over 12 years experience in the gas utilities industry as a gas distribution officer and gas Inspector. His role involved a high level of knowledge of the characteristics and dangers of gas and the importance of gas testing and compliance of gas installations. Throughout his career, Adam has been involved in trainee and new employee mentoring programs.

Senior Trainer and Assessor

Tom is our newest member of the team with over 7 years of training experience. He has over 3 years of experience as a lead trainer and spent 4 years delivering Offsore and Maritime safety training courses, specialising in HUET escape training, Sea survival, fire fighting and fire escape training. Tom is an avid scuba diver with over 15 years of experience, which gives him a wealth of knowledge in breathing apparatus training and staying calm under pressure.

Tess started her first aid career in High School, volunteering as a St John’s Cadet and trained to become young squad leader/corporal. She has a wealth of knowledge and has trained for over 5 years.

Tess has 10+ years of experience in aviation, concentrating in the areas of operations management in the FIFO sector and general transportation sector. For 5 years, Tess trained fellow staff and became a qualified Emergency Procedures Instructor, providing training for pilots and flight attendants, specialising in advanced first aid and resuscitation, fire, aviation security, dangerous goods, emergency procedures and customer service training.

“My passion for helping others started at an early age and progressed into a career  I thoroughly enjoy today. Seeing others smile, grow & learn brightens my day. As a trainer, I get the privilege of being a part of that journey.”

Mac

Trainer and Assessor

Macaylor, also known as Mac, is a current ambulance officer who started her career in the medical industry as a sports medic in 2011. Mac worked hard in her studies in the paramedicine field specialising in mental health and trauma. Mac’s passion and expertise are in mental health and Advanced First Aid.

Mac has had a wide range of training experiences, from working with students to teach vehicle extrication and trauma scenarios to her time as a medic in Tanami, assisting in training the ERT team in multiple mental health and emergency response scenarios.

“I love what I do because it is a true passion.  The motto I have always lived by throughout my fitness and medical careers, which have lasted 12 years, is. . . I love to help those who can’t help themselves.”

Ben has a diverse and varied background, having worked in corporate sales and management for the last 12 years and, more recently, as a business owner of a highly recognised Swim School in Perth. Ben has developed his passion for training and continuous learning through teaching during this time. Through this passion, Ben has brought RTS Training Group to life.
