HLTAID001 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Refresher Course
This Provide CPR Refresher course is ideal for individuals who have previously completed a Provide CPR course in the last 12 months, and are looking to update their CPR qualifications to meet industry requirements.
During the CPR refresher course you will learn how to assess an emergency situation, correct CPR technique for infants and adults, your legal responsibilities when offering assistance and how to use and administer a defibrillator. Our highly knowledgeable instructors focus on making the course interactive, relevant to your situation and enjoyable.
For Nurses the CPR refresher courses are accredited by the Australian College of Nursing. This course is also recongised by the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP) as part of 2014-2016 Treinnium Requirements.
To attend a CPR refresher course you must have completed a CPR course in the last 12 months. You will need to bring your current CPR certificate with you on the day you attend the course.
CPR Refresher Course Duration
This refresher course is offered as a combination of online theory and practical training. The online theory takes approximately 45-60 minutes to complete and the practical training takes 2 hours.
On the day of the CPR refresher course you will be required to bring along a copy of the online certificate as evidence that you have completed the online theory training.
